Purpose Reporting to the Manager, Venues & Infrastructure, the Deputy Manager, Stadium Bus Mall is responsible for the efficient and safe running of Stadium Bus Mall operations and has oversight of Driver Supervision, Load Zones, Bus Staging, Traffic Marshalling, Crowd Management & Queuing and administration of daily service rosters & run sheets.

Qualifications

 University Degree required
 Fluent in English (fluent in Arabic a plus)

Event Experience

 Minimum 5 years of progressive responsibilities and work-related experience, and any combination of education and training, which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement
 Previous involvement in planning and operating complex events in size

Primary Duties

 Operate bus transport spaces at stadiums, including the planning & delivery of permanent and temporary infrastructure for assigned site
 Oversee load zone operations by counting passengers from queuing to boarding Buses to ensure maximum occupancy while avoiding overloading
 Management and training of all Staff to ensure competency for a complex operation as these Staff will be providing clients/spectators with TBS transport specific information, for e.g. times, routes & locations of services
 Management of TBS Drivers ensuring clear communication & direction onsite
 Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including operations plans for each venue
 Establish and maintain relationships with multiple internal and external Stakeholders/3rd Party Vendors
 Provide leadership, support & regular updates to the venue & TBS systems team
 Maintain project timeline and escalate critical issues as needed
 Deputize for the Manager, Venues & Infrastructure as and when required

Knowledge and Skills Required

 Experience in managing large teams and working with a variety of stakeholders
 Relative training, preferably in venue transport operations
 Good management skills and experience leading large teams
 Experience working closely with various internal and external parties including security, police, government agencies and tournament operations teams
 The ability to use discretion and common sense when dealing with sensitive information
 Prepared to take accountability and make decisions
 Attention to detail
 Pragmatic and practical with clear eye on solutions
 Self-motivated and confident in leading a team
 Hardworking and reliable
 People-oriented - enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
 Advanced level Microsoft Office Suite
