Reporting to the Senior Manager, Stadium Bus Systems, the Manager, Metro Shuttle Bus Systems is responsible for designing network operations and service planning. Additionally responsible for the efficient and safe running of operations and has oversight of, and including but not limited to, Driver Supervison, Load Zone Operations, Bus Staging, Traffic Marshalling, Crowd Management & Queuing, PAX
loading and off loading, and administration of daily service rosters & run sheets.


  • University degree required/or equivalent years of experience
  • Fluent in English (fluent in Arabic a plus)

Event Experience

  • Minimum 5-10 years of progressive responsibilities and work-related experience, and any combination of education and training, which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement
  • Previous involvement in planning and operating complex events in size and nature
  • of a FIFA World Cup

Primary Duties

  • Manages Metro Shuttle Loop and operations
  • Assist the Senior Manager, Stadium Bus Systems, working with the TBS Scheduling Team to ensure accurate data is provided for the scheduling of buses
  • Assist the Senior Manager, Stadium Bus Systems and the TBS Venues & Infrastrusture Team to determine operational requirements
  • Manage training and mentoring of Deputy Staff
  • Work closely with external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to Security services
  • Plan and deliver the Metro Shuttle Bus Systems requirements for all Test Events as directed
  • Deputize, if required, for the Senior Manager, Stadium Bus Systems

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Experience in managing large teams and working with a variety of stakeholders including Governmental agencies and services
  • Strong event or bus operations acumen and an excellent track record in planning, operations and stakeholder integration
  • Extensive operations related training, especially regarding venue transport operations
  • Knowledge of operational principles, techniques and procedures
  • Prepared to take accountability and make decisions
  • Attention to detail
  • Pragmatic and practical with clear eye on solutions
  • Self-motivated and confident in leading a team
  • Hardworking and reliable
  • Advanced level Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
