Reporting to the Senior Manager, Depot Operations, the Manager, Depot Logistics & Services is responsible for establishing the operations dispatch and return processes across the 5 TBS Depots. This position is additionally responsible for the planning and execution of any logistical movements of our Subcontractors and Vendors onsite. The focus of this role is to ensure that all processes and movements are efficiently and safely managed with the correct teams in place for a successful onsite operation.


  • University degree required
  • Fluent in English (fluent in Arabic a plus)

Event Experience

  • Preferably 5 years of progressive responsibilities and work-related experience, and any combination of education and training, which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement
  • Ideal candidate possesses previous involvement in planning and operating complex events relative in size and nature to a FIFA World Cup™

Primary Duties

  • Work closely with the TBS Depot team to meet all agreed KPI's
  • Ensure there is a standard procedure for access control and staff parking across all depots
  • To take responsibility for setting up processes for dispatch and return of buses that functions across all depots in an efficient manner and complies with KPIs
  • Take the lead in managing the workforce shuttle operation for both Drivers & Depot Workforce and ensuring this occurs across all Depots
  • Responsible for over-seeing that the Depot contractors follow agreed processes for food deliveries to TBS Drivers on shift across Qatar
  • Responsible for ensuring a process is in place and adhered to across all sites in the issuing and management of event time uniforms and accreditation working alongside HR and the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC)
  • Liase with Facility Management Contractors and the TBS Facility Manager to coordinate a seamless bump-in operation
  • Managing a set process with the Traffic Police on Driver/Vehicle incidents escalating and reporting as required across all Depots
  • Build a close relationship with Woqod to understand fuel distribution across all Depots
  • Set up and implement site procedures as relevant to the logistical movements for all TBS Depots e.g. waste, water and site deliveries

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Experience of working with a workforce of multi nationals from Asia, Middle East, Europe and North America
  • Knowledge of Bus Depot planning and operations
